By using Receiva, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. The service

Receiva is an offline-first progressive web app that lets field service technicians generate, store, and email professional service receipts from their own device. Receipts are created and stored locally and sent from your own connected email account.

2. Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the receipts you create and send to your customers.
• You are responsible for complying with the tax, invoicing, and record-keeping laws that apply to your business.
• You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of your data.

3. Your data

Your business data is stored on your device. You retain all ownership of it. Receiva does not claim any rights to your client information, catalog, or receipts. See our Privacy Policy for details.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Receiva to create fraudulent receipts, misrepresent transactions, or violate any applicable law.

5. Availability and "as is"

Receiva is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. Because the app runs on your device and depends on your browser, device, and network, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. You are responsible for verifying that receipts were sent successfully.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Receiva and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including lost data or lost business.

7. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Receiva after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
